Barcelona, analog

I spent september and some days of october in Barcelona and did not only shoot digital photos (1, 2, 3), but some analogue pictures additionally.I shot two films (both b&w fujifilm), one with a Nikon FE and the other with a Icarex 35S. I liked both cameras, though I prefer the weight of the Nikon.

Shooting analogue pictures is always fun: no more right-away-shooting but trying to focus on your motive, the whole craft behind exposing and film-developing makes it a total difference experience to digital photography. Martin describes this magnificently in a blog-post (german read).

Here is a little selection from my Barcelona pictures, besides some contrasts nothing is edited (yes, there was dust & scratches on the lens, but I love the look – again an analogue “feature”).
